TURKEY CHILI

Last Week was unusually cold for this time of year. So I decided to find something easy to make that was fitting for the weather. To my surprise, I had everything I needed in my kitchen to make a perfectly good turkey chili. I didn’t have a recipe, but here’s the gist of what’s in it:

1 lb ground turkey

1 onion

1 garlic clove

red pepper flakes

2 cans tomatoes, diced

1 can red kidney beans, drained

chili powder, ground cumin, ground allspice to taste

hot sauce to taste

I first browned the ground turkey in a skillet with the onions and garlic clove. then i transferred it to my slow cooker and combined with the rest of the ingredients. Let it cook on high for about 4 hours. And its ready to eat!
